Welcome
Schumacher
Funeral Home was started in 1932 by Roy Dunaway. For many years, the
Dunaway Funeral Home was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records
because of the unusual name for a funeral home. In 1944, our cemetery,
Magnolia Memorial Gardens, opened just north of Bristow on old Highway
66. Ron Schumacher has owned and operated the funeral homes and
cemetery since 1977, and in 1993 acquired the Webb Funeral Home in
Okemah.
The Bristow location is just 25 miles from Tulsa on the Turner Turnpike, and the Okemah facility is 30 miles south of Bristow. Our sympathetic staff is dedicated to making the entire process of funeral selection as simple, comfortable, dignified and professional as possible. We would be glad to discuss cremations, funeral arrangement options, necessary merchandise and how we can help to relieve you of all the details either at the time of need or in pre-arranging services.
The burial lots at Magnolia start at only $375.00, and we offer an interest-free payment plan for lots and mausoleum spaces. Schumachers offers discounts for those using both the funeral home and cemetery, and also for pre-arranging services.
